The 16 Days of Activism Against Women and Child Abuse begun on the 25th November. Today marks the 5th day of its running in 2015. This is the time for one to carefully analyse what they are doing to protect children and women from victimization. Its the perfect time to look around and see if we are grooming healers or killers, rapists or redeemers. Is whats being done enough? Are the policies guiding abuse related matters sufficient? Do they grow fierce with just these 16 days and hush down when it ends?
I want to encourage you today to make this matter a concern to you. Be a part of the movement. If you are a singer- sing it, if you are a poet- recite it, if you are an advocate- adopt a victim and fight for them the best way you know how. Everyone has a role to play. May God grant us the grace to raise brilliant men who can stand up for themselves without pulling anyone down. May we raise noble men, powerful men that lead without aggression and advocate for peace. May we also raise great women, who know what they are worth and whom they represent. May these women be kind to their brothers and love without any hesitation.
Some people are not strong enough to fight for themselves therefore those with the heart to do so must do it.
Love

That is true Optimist. We are always so caught up in perfecting one side of the matter we lose sight of the one ailing.

N we expect these boys who don’t know love to grow up and become fathers..and husbands to our sisters.Yet we forget we did not show them how to become a man who will love and respect his wife and sisters.

That is the painful reality of what our society is becoming. We are loveless and endangering the essence of humanity.
